How do households and invites work?

A household is one shared space. Any member can invite family from their Account page: the invite link lands a new person in the household with nothing to type, or the 8-character code can be read aloud and entered at sign-up under "Join one." The person who founded the household is its steward and holds the sensitive keys, like changing the join code.

Starting a brand-new household takes an access code. Ask for one at FrontBurnerApp@gmail.com and we'll set you up.

How do I put it on my phone?

Straight from the browser, no app store: tap Install the app on the front page, or follow the install guide for iPhone, Android, and computer. On iPhone the install matters: Apple only allows notifications for apps on the Home Screen.

How do notifications work?

Per device, entirely in your hands: on or off any time under Account → Notifications. The app never asks for permission until you tap first.

What does it cost?

Nothing, during the founding period. No ads, ever, and your household's record is never sold or shared. If paid plans arrive later, they'll be announced plainly, not slipped in.

How do I leave a household, or delete my account?

Both live on your Account page. Leave household keeps your account (your chores go back to unassigned; the family's record stays with them). Delete account is permanent, and if you're the last member, the household's data goes with you. Nothing is kept.

I can't sign in.

Use Forgot your password and a reset link goes to your account email. If you signed up with Google, sign in with the Google button; there's no separate password. Signed in but something looks wrong? Send a letter to the editor from your Account page. It goes straight to the person building this.
