Terms of Service

Effective July 21, 2026

The agreement

By creating an account or using Front Burner you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. That's the whole handshake.

Your account and your household

  • Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself; you're responsible for what happens under your account.
  • A household's join code is its front-door key. Share it only with people you want reading and writing your household's data. Everyone in a household sees the same shared record and anyone can invite; the member who founded the household is its steward and holds the sensitive keys, like changing the join code.
  • You must be 13 or older to hold an account.

Acceptable use

Use the service for organizing real households. Don't attempt to access other households' data, probe or overload the service, or store anything unlawful in it. We may suspend or remove accounts that do.

Your data

What your household writes down belongs to your household. You give us just enough license to store, process, and display it, which is to say: to run the service. We claim no other rights to it, and the Privacy Policy governs how it's handled.

Price

Front Burner is free to use today. Paid features may be introduced later; if they are, nothing your household already relies on will be locked away behind a paywall retroactively.

The honest disclaimer

The service is provided as-is, kept up with care but without warranties of any kind. We run automated backups and take reliability seriously, but you shouldn't use Front Burner as the sole record of anything irreplaceable, and to the maximum extent the law allows we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

Ending things

You can delete your account from the Account page whenever you like; the Privacy Policy spells out exactly what that removes. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, with notice where practical.

Changes and contact

If these terms change, the new version is posted here with a new effective date, and continued use after that means you accept them. Questions? Write to FrontBurnerApp@gmail.com.
