Put it on your phone

Front Burner installs straight from the browser, no app store required. Installed, it opens full screen from its own icon, and notifications work.

iPhone and iPad

  • 1Open frontburner.app in Safari (this part needs Safari, not Chrome).
  • 2Tap the Share button (the square with the arrow pointing up.
  • 3Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.
  • 4From now on, open Front Burner from its icon. Notifications only work from the installed app: turn them on under Account → Notifications.

Apple only offers notifications to installed web apps; that's why the icon matters, not just the bookmark.

Android

  • 1Open frontburner.app in Chrome.
  • 2Tap the ⋮ menu in the top corner, then Add to Home screen (some phones say Install app).
  • 3Open it from the icon and enable notifications when asked, or any time under Account → Notifications.

Computer

Nothing to install: frontburner.app works in any browser. Chrome and Edge also offer an install icon at the right end of the address bar if you'd like it in your dock or taskbar.
